What direction will you be heading in 2016?
I thought I would begin the New Year by sharing
a quilting design from my sketch book...
I call this.....String of Pearls
The design begins with lines of circles...
You can chalk out the lines on your fabric to serve as
guidelines as you quilt this design.
After you have stitched out the lines and circles:
Begin filling in the background with different textures.
I drew half circles around some of the circles,
then some straight lines.
Continue to stitch out different textures
in each background area...
This becomes challenging and FUN to put a different texture
in each space.
You get the idea......why don't you give it a go!

I've tried a string of circles before but not with the fillers. So mine didn't turn out as well. What a great idea you have here. Makes me want to use it again. Thanks for the inspiration.
