Thread Shed….Makeover

The Thread Shed….2013

The vine planted in front has become too aggressive…

Even pruning several times a year, we can't keep up

with the growth.

This spring I was barely able to get into the door…eek!

So…..we removed the vine and arbor and lots of ivy:

We replaced the wooden arbor with this new metal one

Now it is in need of a paint job…

What a difference a coat of paint makes…

Metal Arbor…..Secret Garden

Sign on the door is a gift

from my brother in law….years ago.

Chicken Door Bell……a gift from my aunt…..years ago.

I am enjoying the inviting, clean look of the building…

The arbor no longer crowds the entry…

Clematis Vines planted on the arbor…

Clematis

Makes me wanna get in there and sew something!
