  2. Especially ove the soy wax resist, and can't wait to try the cut sponge.
Would you post the colors you used for the soy wax bases/overdyes - I'm getting a Dharma order going and would love to include them.
    Thanks,

  4. Hi Judy,

I wish I could remember the dye colors I used for the first dye bath, but it was so long ago that I have no idea. If you start with a pastel color for the base, then over-dye it with a darker color, that should work just fine.
Just dive in and give it a try! Something FUN always happens.

  6. I love your batiks!! What fun! I was wondering where you got those really cool red wax melting pots. I'm looking for one myself and can't find anything suitable for the right price and have never seen anything like those. Thanks!

  8. Hi Charity,

All of my melting pots and little pans came from thrift stores.

  9. The red melting pots came from the thrift store. I am amazed at how much I find here that is so useful for creating art.

  10. I use Pebeo Setacolors for painting over the soy wax. They have a starter 10 pack of paints that has a great variety of colors. Their 10 pack of shimmers is also wonderful.
