Wildflowers Quilt...

It's good to be back in the Thread Shed...

I am inspired to finish this Quilt.

It has been stored in a pizza box in pieces

for 12 years:

Wildflowers

This is made from Hoffman Florals

I started it a dozen years ago.

I finished piecing the borders today.

It is photographing poorly....sigh.

I grabbed a few big florals to piece a back for it...

It is ready to go under the needle.

Yes, Gunnr sleeps soundly under his new Quilt!

The sunset was so inspiring last evening:

The view from the back door...

Wishing you lots of inspiration!

  1. YOur quilt is the perfect foil to the gloomy weather we've been having in my location. I also have set of completed blocks stored in boxes awaiting the day they will once again see daylight. At least they aren't going bad where they are.

  5. I just recently discovered you and your site, and have been going through a bunch of your quilts.... and what I have to say is.... you are amazing! I have found myself coming back here time after time. The sunflower quilt from a while back is awesome... and I love how you showed us the steps along the way. Learned tons. Can't wait to see how this one turns out!! Thanks for the inspiration and I wish I lived closer!
