Zinnia Raffle Quilt....Under the Needle

Today I am quilting the Zinnia Quilt...

It was created by:

The Harlan Valley Quilters of Oregon

It will be donated to:

The Women's Cancer Coalition

I turned off the lights so the stitching shows up better...

I just couldn't resist stitching lots of feathers...

Check out the un-quilted part on the right...

Quilting definitely makes the Quilt!

We are enjoying the Iris bed in front of the house:

The brown Iris are always a favorite...

Gerber Daisies:

As always, I am glad to share my photography.

Feel free to use these images

  6. Quilting sure does make the quilt! I loved the photo that shows the one last unquilted section for a real comparison. It makes me have hope for some of my less-than-inspiring tops, LOL!

  7. Wow! Absolutely amazing! I came across your blog while surfing around "doodles" and came across some of your "doodles" from your quilt journal. This one really stood out to me and I just had to comment and say how beautiful your work is! Makes me want to learn quilting, to be honest.

  8. Your quilting is outstanding. I, too, have a HQS16. I've quilted a few quilts on it. Your work is inspiring and I hope to be half as good a you in this lifetime!!

  9. Many thanks for your kind comments. Be sure to practice your quilting motifs with pencil and paper before you go to the machine. It gets you all warmed up and ready to machine quilt. Works like a charm!
