I thought I would catch you up on the Hexagon Quilt...
Last week the quilt consisted of 100 Hexagons...
It has been so refreshing working with the
letter and number fabrics
The soft, neutral fabrics are so soothing
After 6 days on the couch sneezing, sniffling and stitching...
I counted 331 Hexagons tonight.
I am hoping to be on the sunny side of life tomorrow,
so I can head out to the thread shed and find border fabrics.
p.s. If you took my EPP class in October, I would love to see
the progress you have made on your Hexagon Quilt!

This is a beautiful quilt top!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day.
Always, Queenie
Thanks Queenie! I have been collecting word and number fabrics for a few years. It is nice to use a few of them in this quilt. These 1.5 inch hexagons made the work go quickly.

Take along quilts indeed! They are my favorite project "to go". I just started my 5th GFG quilt (Halloween themed) and am about to quilt the last one, which is Christmas. My squares are 3.25" on a side, though I do like to EPP the teeny ones. Great monochromatic quilt.
ReplyDeleteWhat is EPP? Beautiful quilts and photos.
