I had deconstructed screen prints batching
the last few days so I rinsed them out today:
At this point, they have been rinsed out in the sink...
They are soaking wet hanging on the flower bed fence...
they will look much different after a
HOT machine washing...
The finer details of the printing show up
better when they come out of the dryer.
This is what the screen looked like
BEFORE the printing:
The texture on this screen was created with a plastic
mesh screen and plastic wrap scrunched up and pressed on top.

All of the fabric images have been washed and dryed
at this point...
I used clear thickened print paste only.
No dye added.

I printed 9 Deconstructed screens on about
4 yards of cotton fabric...
I get excited over the unknown...
You never know what a deconstructed screen
is going to produce until you take the
printed fabric out of the dryer!
