Crows and Fence...

The fence work is complete...

Our 25 year old white fence has been rebuilt and
is sporting a sage green paint job!

It blends in beautifully with the surroundings,
just what we hoped for.

Remember these images from last week?

Crows...

The images are printing out beautifully on
white cotton sateen fabric.

The crows continue to hammer away at the pie cherry tree:

I have enhanced and saturated the color on these cherries
in the iPhoto program so I can use them as part of the
crow quilt...

The crows rest on the fence posts in the driveway
between rounds of munching cherries in the yard:

It is tricky to get a good image of a crow...
As soon as they see me, they screech loudly and fly off!

As long as the cherries hold out...
I will keep snapping away with the camera!

  1. What program did you use to enhance the color?

    Thanks

  2. iPhoto on my mac.

I basically lightened the image, heavy on the contrast, saturation, and sharpened it.

Most any image program will do these very basic edits. Most of them have slider controls. Just slide them back and forth until you get what you like.

    Have FUN!

  3. looking good, I use PhotoBucket it has several fun things to use to tweak photos.
I love how you get an image in mind and wait till you can capture it just right.
