Feeling Groovy.......Border Quilting

Day 12

This has been a lot of FUN to quilt!~
Today I spent the day machine quilting the borders:

It took a great deal of hours to complete the quilting on the center
portion of the quilt....very heavily quilted.
(my son could put this in his trunk with a spare tire on it
and it wouldn't hurt this quilt a bit!)

I am excited to finally get to the quilting on the borders:

The green border fabric helps show off all of the stitching.

I am not alone today in the Thread Shed:

The yearling cattle are just outside the window at the barn.

The UPS man pulled down the driveway this afternoon
with this:

I dropped my Nikon a few weeks ago.....eek!
It has been at the camera hospital.
It's back home and working great again!

Thank You

To help with the Nikon separation anxiety...

I have been using our 7 year old Olympus point and shoot.
Thanks to this little camera I was able to keep up with the images
for this blog.

Let's give the Nikon a work out to see how
the repairs went:

I rarely use a flash when photographing quilted textiles.
The flash washes out all of the fabric colors.
The Nikon works well in low light conditions.

  4. A very nice quilt - pretty cheery colors and the quilting looks wonderful. So sorry about your camera...so far I have not dropped mine or knocked it off as it is always on my sewing table when I am working.
