  1. I have heard about dyeing with shaving cream before, now I know I've got to try that along with the microwave deal. Thanks!

  2. Cool! When you do the shaving cream in the trays and drop the inks onto the cream...what's next? Is there a tute? I am in Klamath Falls! Willing Hands

  3. Hi Betty,
You mix the Tsukineko inks into the shaving cream. If you lightly mix them you will get a marbled or streaky look. If you mix them thoroughly, like we did, you will get a solid color.
Apply the colored shaving cream with a foam brush. Working from the outside and spreading the foam inward. Be sure the stencil is secure on the fabric, adhesive spray works good on the back of plastic stencils. If you hand cut your stencils from freezer paper, then iron it directly on the fabric.
That's all there is to it.
We are teaching this in November as a Permission 2 Play class and there will be a slideshow of the process after the class.
    Good Luck,
    LuAnn
