We just found out Gunnr is February in the
2012 Quilting Arts Calendar
Theme: Feeling Pet-ty
Our son, Nicholas, brought Gunnr home 4 years ago on his birthday.
It is extra fun that Gunnr is Mr. February as
Nicholas was born in February.
Gunnr's portrait quilt was colored and painted on white fabric,
then machine quilted.
Gunnr does not seem to be overly impressed with his quilt,
but I am just tickled .

Congratulations to Gunnr and you! The accolade is well deserved! You did an absolutely amazing job on that portrait! His face just oozes personality and you captured that beautifully! Gotta love a calendar celebrity that is so modest about his fame! Grin!

Congratulations, LuAnn--wonderful portrait. I have a February birthday, and will enjoy looking at Gunnar, too. Gunnar reminds me of the boxers of my childhood.My mom raised them; however they had more common names, Butchie and Lassie. They LOVED to chase cats, and we had a lot of cats! Boxers are wonderful, loving dogs, and you've caught "the look."
