Inktense Portrait.......Bird

Look what the mail man brought...

Inktense Pencils

Let's take them for a ride:

They come in a pretty metal tin...

The packaging makes it easy to lay them all out and see every color at once.

Let's try this little guy on for size...
I took this photo in February of a tiny sparrow
in the flowering cherry tree just outside our front door.

He is printed out on 8.5 x 11 inch Fabric and ready to color in
with the Inktense Pencils:

I had such a great time trying out the pencils...
I forgot to take in-progress photos.....sorry.

I enjoyed taking the Inktense for a trial run.
The sharp points on the pencils will make it easier to do detail work, especially on human faces.
The Inktense pencils are just as vibrant as the Neocolor II Crayons.
They leave the fabric a bit softer than the Neocolor II.

Look what is blooming just outside the Thread Shed:

Camellia Bush

The Camellia usually blooms in February,
but Spring has come a bit later to our little valley this year.

These might end up in an Inktense Portrait someday.

It was non-rainy here today so we mowed the lawn,
planted roses and 200 new bulbs.
