  1. You inspire me with that applecore quilt. ONe of my girls bought me the template for Christmas this year and I hope to get a bunch of my scraps cut up. Have you found that it truely matters the grain of fabric for these?

  2. YES YES YES.....the grain of the fabric is the most important part of piecing the applecore.

    Be very careful to keep your template lined up on the straight of the grain when cutting out the applecore shape.

    When lined up properly with the straight of the grain, the bias is where it belongs on the curved part of the applecore shape.
