Quilted Orange Zipper Bags
8 x 8 inches

This week I am in need of gifts for family & friends so I made a few bags.
This is my own Homemade Recipe for great bags and you can make 5 of them at once in an afternoon!

Quilted Pink Zipper Bags

If they look familiar, it is because I made the pink ones above for holiday gift giving.
You can find my Tutorial if you CLICK HERE

I hope you will give them a try. It is a great way to use up strips of fabric and also great practice for your machine quilting skills!

  3. Thank you for the bag tutorial, LuAnn. I think they're adorable and would love to make one - or five! Just need to find more time in my quilty day! But one day, I will. I appreciate that you shared your pattern with us.

  4. It's Linda again... I made bags following your tutorial. Several differences though:
    1. I could not make mine in an afternoon. Quilting took longer than I thought, and who has zippers laying around!? VBG
    2. I could not make five from my fabric width. You must have used OLD fabric. Gosh, some of my newer pieces have only 39" of usable print! I could make only four bags.
    3. I put the handle on the same side as the zipper tab when the bag is close.

Thanks for photos that could be enlarged. I didn't know you'd switched from a zipper foot to a quarter-inch foot until I took a close look.

Two of these four bags are birthday gifts for my blog-followers, so I'll post pictures in a week. Thanks for the tute!
