There are several tips for using Metal...Hi Leeanne,<br />There are several tips for using Metallic Threads:<br />Topstitch 90 or 100 Needle<br />They have a very large eye and less friction as the metallic thread runs through the eye of the needle.<br />Slow down.......really force yourself to go nice and slow.<br />Use good quality metallic threads. <br />I like Madeira SuperTwist Metallics, they are very fine.<br />Use a lightweight poly thread in the bobbin, like Bottom Line.
