Better to have too many choices, than limit yourself. Be sure to pull a few high contrast colors......sometimes they are just what the quilt needs. High sheen threads, like YLI Variations, and Rayon threads are becoming my favorites! They add a lot of punch to your stitching.
Glad you are enjoying the thread posts.
LuAnnLuAnn Kessihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05452504557094310816noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4713159193159889633.post-74922979061101308352010-02-20T18:37:23.471-08:002010-02-20T18:37:23.471-08:00That's really beautiful and I really appreciat...That's really beautiful and I really appreciated seeing all of the detail progression photos!Vicki Whttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06929340703066037054noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4713159193159889633.post-82767587768931892602010-02-20T13:32:53.277-08:002010-02-20T13:32:53.277-08:00I bought the miracle chalk chubby pencil after see...I bought the miracle chalk chubby pencil after seeing it here on your blog. I LOVE it! I really like to see your auditioning threads pictures. I have a difficulty sometimes choosing thread color for quilting and I learn a lot from seeing what does and doesn't work for you.Lynnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13665481715449959495noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4713159193159889633.post-32722403821193090802010-02-20T06:06:23.821-08:002010-02-20T06:06:23.821-08:00Hi Janet,

The marks don't go away until you iron over them. I don't mark a great deal, but when I do I want the marks to remain until I no longer need them, and I want the removal to be fast and simple. This marking chalk does the job well.
LuAnnLuAnn Kessihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05452504557094310816noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4713159193159889633.post-7016102304059890512010-02-20T05:52:31.831-08:002010-02-20T05:52:31.831-08:00Your step by step pictures really help me envision...Your step by step pictures really help me envision your creative processes. I knew about iron out pen but not chalk. I will investigate purchasing this. I love the way your quilting interacts with the printed images.
