Handcrafted Foam Stamps...

The Permission 2 Play instructors

are gathered at the Quilt Palace

to prep for a future class:

Handcrafted Foam Stamps

We have some sketches for design inspiration,

adhesive backed foam sheets,

plastic from food containers.

Here are our completed foam stamps...

We used 2 layers of foam sheets,

then cut out our design

and adhered it to clear plastic.

We are using So-Soft Fabric Paint

Nancy is applying paint with a Spouncer

Kathi is applying paint with a sponge

I am applying paint with a foam roller

I do love the distressed printing effect of this

stamp making technique.

Pleas join us in class:

  1. LuAnn, these are an exceptional reuse of things we normally throw out or recycle. I love the idea.

  3. Thanks for the demo of printing with foam, I have some fabric that I marbled awhile ago and want to over print. Seeing how you set your foam printing has given me the spear on to try it.
