The Art Sisters are @ the Quilt Palace

We have gathered up our favorite

soy wax tools

Tools of the Trade

The Soy Wax is heating up...

We are stamping hot soy wax on

light hand dyed fabrics

We are using big under-the-bed boxes

for the dye baths:

5 Dark Dye Baths:

Black, Blue, Purple, Green, Red

MX Fiber Reactive Dye Concentrates

Below are examples of light handyes

then over-dyed darker:

This is what we are aiming for today!

We are all set up....let the games begin!

  2. LuAnn, This is something else I love to do and just haven't done in awhile. I rarely soy wax over previously dyed fabric - yes, whimpy! I can't wait to see the results.

  3. You are quite organized with your set up, which I totally respect and agree with! What great pieces and looks like everyone had a grand time and produced some cool pieces!
