This is a photo I took of Suzy our Jack Russell Terrier
If there is a quilt left lying around, Suzy will find it and get cozy!
As soon as I took this photo...
I just knew it would become a quilted textile someday
Suzy Quilt
Photo Transfer, Free Motion Quilting, Thread Painting
Detail of Thread Work
Suzy's favorite place is under my sewing machine!
She is the very best sewing dog
I cherish our time together in the Thread Shed
When I am binding a quilt...
I am not alone...
Suzy gets cozy on the quilt while I am binding it.
I sit by the window so I have lots of light to hand sew...
Suzy enjoys the warm rays of sunshine while she is napping on the quilt.
I am in the process of making another Suzy Quilt...
May Your Bobbin Always Be Full,
LuAnn

Hi SheilaC,
ReplyDeleteA photo transfer tutorial.....great idea!
Yes, I can do that.
The next time I create a piece using photo transfer, I will photograph each step of the process, then post it on the blog to share with everyone.
Thanks for the suggestion.

ReplyDeleteHi Diane,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind works about Suzy Dog.
She stole our hearts 15 years ago when my 10 year old son found her under the Christmas tree.
He is away at college now, so she sticks to me like glue.
We are lucky to have Suzy Girl.

ReplyDeleteI love to see photos of your dogs. How old is your sweet Suzy?
ReplyDeleteOur Little Suzy girl is 15 years young!
ReplyDeleteShe was a surprise under the Christmas tree to our 10 year old son back in 1995.
He is away at college now, and she is lost without him.
She has become my shadow and rarely leaves my side.
She delights in sleeping under the sewing machine while it is humming along.
