  1. Lou Ann, I always LOVE seeing pictures of your farm. Thanks for posting Paul Harvey's "God Made a Farmer." I had only seen snatches of it. Your life looks like it's right out of a novel, although I know that's not realistic. But we can enjoy imagining it that way!

  2. Thanks for posting that! I was raised on a farm so I know about the hard work and long hours. Daddy raised beef and sold tomatoes and corn and field peas during the summer. It's a great life but I've never wanted to be a farmer, I would like to live on a few acres again instead of in a subdivision.

  3. Oh LuAnn, your farm is beautiful--tall trees and yummy green--WOW! I love it! All those animals too. It's just lovely.

Here in North Texas, we seem to have an abundance of browns and golds surrounding us. It's probably because we stay in drought, and even when we don't, it's so hot by mid summer that most green disappears, and the majority of trees don't grow very tall either.

I've always heard Oregon was pretty. Now that we have an RV, we will have to check it out one day. Thank you so much for sharing your farm. The pictures really warmed my heart.
